Lending and Staking both provide participants a low-mid range yield on their investments by providing a service for an organization or protocol.

Lending achieves this by allowing users to lock up their coins/cryptocurrencies and receive an interest payment from the organization they are being lent too, most often cryptocurrency exchanges.

Staking is process that helps secure a blockchain network that in turn pays participants with newly minted coins. When Staking, a participant will commit their cryptocurrency holdings of a particular network to that network in order to validate transactions and provide security.
